Open Beta 2.0 is NOW OVER!
As most of you know, last week we ran the first open beta for the 2014 Premium Link Upgrade ! We now know that the contest will be able to handle traffic, no issues what so ever. However, there were a lot of little gremlins that made the whole of the contest less than stellar. The big one was our cache playing havoc with the voting panels on the model sections!

For open beta 2.0 we believe we've fixed the panels showing up for some people, not showing up for others at the start of the contest so everything is fair and square.
Also, you should no longer be able to vote for eliminated girls. And the top list should be present in rounds 1 and 2 as it has for the past 4 years.
There were other little changes, mostly for performance and back end stuff that I won't go into because I doubt anyone cares if I can sort columns in the contest CMS or not.
Currently the programmer is going through the code, getting it all cleaned up and making sure everything works with his new and improved voting panels. As soon as he thinks he's done and gets all changes uploaded, we'll start up Beta 2.0!
Here are the times/dates for each round:
- Round 1: now (Aug 20) until 8am Aug 21st Amsterdam time
- Round 2: 10am Aug 21st until 8am Aug 22nd
- Round 3: 10am Aug 22nd until 15:30 Aug 22nd
