Just got back from getting my taxes done, and I won't be seeing a penny of stimulus money. My earned income is $300 short of qualifying. So even though I've barely made enough money to live on, I don't get any stimulus money. On the other hand, if I'd gone on welfare, had a *****, or gone on disability, I would've received a check, according to my tax preparer. Since I'm not 25, I don't qualify for an earned income credit either, which would also have earned me some money back. Fuck me for getting a degree, working, and not cheating the system. Guess I'll know better next time.
