I don't think that men are that automatic to have only one button.

I'm not sure men would have an "off" button.
The problem with the female side of the dials is not the number of dials, but the number of freaking dials one has to hit at the same time, to make sure they are all working in perfect unison, and to not hit certain other buttons when other buttons are being used.
