This is a little early on in the year, but just sowing seeds ....

Given the MoTw, PoTW and SoTW threads and smack downs, how about at

Member of the Year

competition?

Could be announced with the Miss FreeOnes winner .. maybe Petra could be persuaded to cobble together a goodie bag from the back of the reject merch closet for the FO Board Champ?

Maybe this would be fun, but you're starting too early. Talk to Petra. If she doesn't kill you, and that's a 50/50 every time, she may be interested in this. Especially if it runs concurrently with the Miss FreeOnes contest. She's always looking for more things to do at that time.

Maybe make it a June-June contest or something.

There should be incentives - I'll volunteer to Fellate the winner. If there's no interest in that, back to basics: anal fisting.

Good idea for a prize package - Petra's Bag of Freeones Goodies and anal fisting from Dirk.

It could run concurrently or not. As it would essentially be member-driven (ooo-er), the Gods of Admin and Fear ought not to be overly taxed by it, other than to scrape together a few trinkets.

Unless of course the prize was a trip to the Miss FO winner's party.

Now that would be a prize to have.

A free vote, all members eligible for noms and votes

or

A short list made up of the those who got the most wins/noms in post and member of the week threads.

Campaigning = instant disqualification (there are already too many board 'whores')

And I shall sass all I want, dingus punk.

I believe formality is in the realm of the Gods of Admin and Fear.

If they were interested, it takes on a whole new dimension.

If they don't give a crap, then why make it more complicated than it needs be?

It's a pretty simple idea.

Compile nominations
Vote.

Maybe give it to a mod to oversee, as they'd be ineligible. :D

I think it would be a cool little idea. Even if there are no prizes, just something for fun - just for a show of good sportsmanship and giggles.
And, Dirk,you should give head to all participants. As you always do. Just bring out the good stuff for the winner. Maybe even use the extra-powerful Dyson move you are always bragging about, but always seem to be too tired to use.

Rep received should be used as a measuring stick, along with POTW, MOTW, threads started and their quality too. You need to develop a points system. 10 points for MOTW, 5 for POTW, 2 for quality threads started and 1 for every....1000 rep or something.
