Hiliary 2020
True story.
A friend of mine rented a house to a guy who was convicted of statutory **** 17 years ago.
My buddy was reluctant but checked with the guys, I guess parole officer and the details were that she was 16, it happened in another state, and she misrepresented her age, plus he met her in a bar. One time thing.
But he was convicted.
So the guy seemed alright, trying to get on with his life , so my friend rented him the house.
Next day a detective comes and enters the house, then calls the code enforcer who promptly comes by and finds "exposed wires" and condemns the house, plus hits my friend with a few fines.
So my friend lets him stay at another house he rents out........next day, same detective, same code enforcer........condemns the house, fines my friend again.
So, the economy is bad, my buddy is juggling mortgages trying not to lose his properties. Now he's got 2 houses he cant rent out.
He tells the guy he can rent a room in his house where he lives alone for 100 bucks a week.
Next day, same detective comes. Tells him he needs a Certificate of Occupancy plus a landlord license to rent a room in his own house.
So my friend tells him forget it, the guy can stay for free until he finds another place..
No rent will be charged.
Next day there are people out front of his house protesting.
Someone went and put flyers on all the doors in the area saying that a guy who ***** 5 girls under the age of 12 is living there.......hmmm, who could that have been?
Same cop comes by and gives my friend a ticket for obstruction of justice.

Ok finish this........I go to court with him last night.
The prosecutor tells him they will dismiss the obstruction charge and do away with the code ********* fines (but not the violations) if he kicks the guy out by next Wednesday.
Pretty sneaky sis.
