I loved Mass Effect and played through it twice once as a good guy and once as a bad guy. You should get back to it and for those of you who haven't played it, play it.
I can't wait. I've been playing Mass Effect again and I might do a third playthrough so that I can have a couple of saves for Mass Effect 2.
I will be losing so much sleep with this game comes out

I cannot wait. I'm assuming everyone pre-ordered. I bought the collector's edition. It was only an extra ten bucks. This game is going to seriously occupy my life.
I just ran through ME over the holidays. It was awesome.
I managed to fuck up the romance, though. I was totally not into the blue chick. I wanted to bang Williams but somehow I managed to lock myself into romancing Liara.
I was so bummed about that that when Liara came to my quarters wanting some nookie...I stuck to my role-playing guns and chose the "This isn't a good time" option.
So no interstellar whoopie for Commander Shepard!!!

Mass Effect was great.. I have gone through it a couple times still plan to finish it a few more. Want any advanatage they will give me when I start Mass Effect 2
It's well worth it to play the first game because you're going to be able to load your save from Mass effect in mass effect 2.
I agree, definitely. One of the best games ever in my opinion.
The 26th cannot come soon enough...

I thought it was a great game because of its refreshing take on humanity's place in the known universe. Ya know all other genres have us as like the dominant power or some shit like that which strikes me as completely unrealistic. In fact if global shit doesnt make us extinct, guys come up with better power generation than making oil in the desert, renewable sources like wind etc.
As in cold fushion I am talking cause thats the kinda power generation we need to be heading for, For space shit man! Anyway point is we could go out and if we try our usual imperial shit we'll probably get humbled by space faring ETs who been at it alot longer than us.
Reason why in my humble opinion they havent made contact is well look at humanity it has many flaws but we are constantly trying to better ourshelves morally and socially and we even got our own UN albeit its seriously flawed. Got laws and other PC crap in regards to developing nations, Past history exempt.
Basically they dont need to rape our planet for meagre resources and we arent capable of getting out there on the inter-galactic scene yet AKA too primitive so probably some big beaucratic dung in place saying earth is a no go zone lulz
I mean the old adage "when an advanced civilization meets a less advanced civilization" blah blah etc is bound to not apply at a certain level. I mean its not completely gone now I aint that naive but its no longer the full on non-guilty approach it used to have meaning we're making progress.

wow just started playing it a little before i go play my hockey game....
this is hard,just like when i played KOTOR. i am looking over the weapons and seeing the upgrades and stuff and its like reading a foreign language,im not exactly understanding the omni-gel breakdown of when you upgrade.
i think if you have a level 1 gun...and there is an upgraded gun that is level 2 you equip the level 2 gun and breakdown the level 1 gun for "spare parts" omni-gel

Yea thats pretty much it. But should look at the damage the gun does try it out also for fire rate for like assault rifles and then for shotguns you want knockback. You'll get used to it in no time to the point you will be breaking up more items for gel and pretty much keeping a set you like.
To be honest once you play the game a few times alot of the items just become fluff or vendor trash I like to call it. As in you be using a set of guns you like and using the same upgrades like regeneration etc.
Armors is pretty much more a big deal for me anyway as I like to look leet when I iz pawning lulz
PS> Vanguard for me personally is best class as well, You have good soldiering abilities as well as biotics. Pretty much run in toss some fookers around when they in mid air open up with the shotgun, hard to beat.

It takes awhile to get it all down. What you need to know sometimes the best gun is the lesser gun. You need to decide what you want oout of the gun and find the one that gives you that. Upgrades are an entirely diffrent animal.
i'm not gonna get Mass Effect 2. they changed everything. they changed gameplay and put the ammo. they removed the Mako. they changed the plot.
the combat tactics changed also. so it' s not mass Effect . No more Mass Effect.
it's something different for people who's loving third person shooter and not loving
