Anyone swap their bong out for one of these? I love my glass bong but when I take a hit I sit in a cloud of smoke and wonder how much THC is escaping out the window and not getting into my lungs where I want it.

Who uses a Vaporizer to smoke now? I see a wide range of prices from $49 to $600. I'd be willing to pay around $200 if I could get a nice one that would last and work well.

you get almost all the thc using vaporizer. like double then you would get from a bong and like 4 or 5 times more than you get from a joint.

so if u dont want to waste thc go vaporizer.

Found 3 Head Shops that were open today. Saw a number of Vaporizers but nothing really appealed to me. I did have a good conversation with this one guy. He said he prefers the bong even though he's used a $600 Volcano Machine numerous times. I think he likes the ritual of smoking out and the experience with the Vaporizer isn't as satisfying even though that contraption harvests more THC.

Just ordered The Volcano Digital Solid Valve Vaporizer Unit. It was $669 on Amazon but free shipping and no tax. It was expensive but it will pay off over time. I can buy by the eighth now instead of by the ounce.

its a waste because you could have found one just as good for fraction of the price.

but on the other hand if you can cut back what you buy and still make it last the same length that'll pay off.

i highly doubt you can cut it to an 8th. thats 1 8th of what you buy now.

plus your better off buying an ounce and make it last. the more you buy the cheaper it is in ratio. do the math.

but im old school and keep it in the paper.a big waste but im a smoker.not the type to blast, chill, blast,ect.

then your putting too much weed in the bowl to begin with.
If you do a bong hit correctly no smoke at all will be wasted.
thats the whole purpose of it.
as soon as you release the carb all the smoke should enter the lungs, if theres extra smoke still in the bong or unburned weed in the bowl then you put too much in the bowl.

and another thing is those huge joints, everybody calls them blunts.
blacks started that shit with their shit quality brown pot years ago.
no offense but its true, i was there.
today everybody does it like its cool or something.
3/4 of the weed goes up in smoke plus it burns like shit with a big red cinder .
The best size doobie is no thicker than a pencil

This Joint / Bong / Vaporizer is a bit like the guitarist thing. There are really fantastic new instruments with special features or different designs... but the old-schoolers will have none of them. They'll play their strat or les paul and not even bother to get a volume limiter for the Marshall stack :dunno:

Damn bro, my vaporizer costed me only $200, I love the taste from a vaporizer its real sweet and tasty but when I see remnants I wanna smoke em, ( it leaves charred bud behind) like all black or brown but stripped of all its goodness, and you have to throw it out. So yeah my opinion is its good to have options, some days I feel like rollin a honey blunt, some days I break out the triple chamber zong, hell some days I just eat the bud straight, but only because its abundant, but I use the vape for special occasions like hash plant or honey oil. I tried some new stuff called Cheese best I smoked this year!

I hear some people cook with what's left. Since the THC is stripped, is there anything left worth keeping to throw in some pot brownies or other edibles?

I can't wait until my Volcano shows up. I've made peace with myself over the money and just looking forward to using it and getting fucked up. I'm sure it will be a nice conversation piece when friends come over.

yeahh my friend owns a valcano, and he hasn't regretted it. It is a ton of money but in the long run it really is worth it. Congrats!
