There is far less under-informed, sensationalized, or outright false information being reported in Japan than in the US (I know, it's shocking...) and most people are still afraid of what may come next but (even one with missing loved ones) almost everyone I've managed to reach is trying to get back into the pre-quake swing of things.
As for industry people... I could probably do this for months but I doubt many of the names I'd list are well known outside of Japan so unless there's a real need for that full list (No.), I'll just take requests if there are any. They're all going on the Impossible List of babes to add to the database so request away.
...I will not get into that debate but, I agree that with such a great multitude of missing, displaced, sick, and deceased, checking in on a few chicks who fuck for money seems shallow. However, for many people who've never been to Japan, don't know anyone who is Japanese, etc., JAV stars and their PS3 make up their only "real" connection to the disaster. L3ggy, if you'd like me to track down all Japanese people, well... you're SOL.
Porn stars who have checked in during the last few hours and are okay...
Popular actresses Yuma Asami, Hitomi Tanaka (another who is/was missing various family members), and Rin Aoki are also known to be okay and are tweeting regularly.
A minority of porn folks are starting to work again but all fan events have been cancelled until further notice. I'm sure many JAV stars will simply disappear from the industry like Mayuka Akimoto who just started working in January. Her third film is still scheduled for release in April but she has deleted all the entries from
her blog.
