Life Insurance - Would You Bother?

I've got a life / health insurance policy which means if I lose my job to health problems or death, then me and my ****** will be covered. Thing is, for one I have no dependants (wife, **** etc) and no intention of getting any really, and secondly I have a decent number of close ****** members who would be happy to take me in if I was physically unable to work.

So, in this situation, am I just throwing that money away every month? It's like £250 a year and I highly doubt I would ever actually need financial help of this kind. But on the other hand, the more you put into the policy, the more you would get out if you did need it. Thoughts? :wave2:
