Weird how Christianity took off the way it did not long after Jesus was killed. If he ever actually existed.
Whether he was real or not really isn't important anyway.
I mean they were a big enough threat all the way in Rome for Nero to have fun executing them in inventive ways and that was at around 55-68 AD.
And Jewish leaders like Herod Agrippa were killing them 20 years prior.
So it really must have took off and spread quickly and I wonder how that happened.
Who was behind it, who spread it, what was there to gain from it and what was the appeal to the common people of so many different cultures and places in such a large area other than the convenience of being able to pray to just one god as opposed to hundreds?
Could it have just been a time saver?
Oh you wanted a joke? I can only tell jokes when I'm drunk.
