This! I respected this man and I am not ashamed to say that that respect no longer exists. I'll never support him or anything Penn State ever again, that's just fucked up on so many levels!

Paterno will be remembered for being a great coach...who did not prevent his long-time friend and assistant coach from molesting little boys. Any and all good that he did in his career is gone, for all I'm concerned. He could have and should have stopped that monster, and he didn't.

I was talking with my supervisor and he said, "Who's Joe Paterno?" I slapped him. Joe Pa is Penn State.
Sandusky is another matter. When I read some of the shit that happened I nearly lost my mind. Obviously the presumption of innocence is gone right out the window when it comes to allegations like this but I would love to see this guy get a fair trial and once he's found guilty, have him taken out back behind the courthouse and have someone pump two rounds into his head at close range, ala Andre Chikitilo.
But I digress. This dickwad founded Second Mile in 1977 and its board of directors flat out told him they didn't want him associated with the program or the boys it helped in 1999. That was the same year he retired from Penn State after it became apparent that he wouldn't be Joe Pa's successor. How fucked up do you have to be to be asked not to participate in a charity you helped found?
The resignations and arrests are just the beginning. Several more people will be charged as accomplices after the fact and Joe Pa will probably die in less than a year.
