Even after a boost in sales from the Wii price cut,its reported that nintendo has seen a tremendous decline in Wii sales and they expect it to reach 30% in decline into 2010. Wii production has been suspended.......

It seems like after the ps3 price cut and 360 still going fairly strong everyone has jumped shipped to Sony and Microsoft. Wii is at 57.39,360 is at 33.66 and ps3 is at 27.04 million consoles sold to date. I bet the 360 and the ps3 sell more consoles than Wii before the next gen starts getting fired up.

Its also stated in the article that shit software is the concern for the Wii......thats what 360 has over Wii and ps3 has over everyone so we'll see....

^What he said.The Wii,obviously,wasn't meant for real gamers.My brother bought one a few months back,and the only time he really plays it is when people are over.Why? Because he's not a real gamer.

If Nintendo was smart,they would make more games that people who actually play video games would want to play more often than when people come over.

The whole nunchuck controller is nothing more than a gimmick anyway.Gimmicks are cool for a minute,but when the novelty wears off,then no one gives a shit about it anymore.And Nintendo is good for gimmicks.R.O.B.,The Power Glove,Uforce.Even though those were from the old NES,it just seems like they went back to the novelty well with the Wii.

This console is well on it's way to being totally irrelevant,if it isn't already there yet.

Yeah I cant seem to understand this maybe you have a guess....instead of making a Madden every year that is just like the ps3 and 360 but with downgraded graphics,they insist on making it more of a motion controller mess. Shit,you got a yearly platinum selling franchise on your system. To me it makes sense to leave it the way it was meant to be played instead of giving it that "nintendo touch".

The Maddens on Wii have been a mockery in the reviews because of this. Heres the deal. It was cheaper than ps3 and 360 when it came out. It came out at the start of the financial recession that we're still in today. It reaped the benefits of consumers wanting to save $$$$. Ps3 and 360 are at the lowest price points of their cycle right now.......its no coincidence that Wii is no longer selling,Ps3 is selling like a beast and 360 is down but still doing well.

not surprised with that info i sure every ones else machine like mine is just sat there collecting dust. was fun at first but after a few month nothing !! must be some people out there still playing but no one i know !!

Never heard of New Super Mario Bros. Wii? I started playing again b/c of this one... one of the greatest (party) games ever (maybe not as good as Uncharted 2, but I think I'll be playing it longer)!!
