Seeing how I was born when Eisenhower was the president, I didn't need a "website" to conjure up this thread.

You see boy, I was born in 1956. I was in 2nd Grade when Kennedy got his head blown off and everyone was sent home from school that day when the news broke. Hence, for the next ten years I watched LBJ fuck up in Vietnam, then Nixon, I was home when RFK got killed... which subsequently led to night after night of NBC, CBS, ABC news covering it for months.

Then, I watched as Nixon waved good-bye while aboard the helicopter after he resigned.

Followed by Ford right before I joined the Navy.

And then Carter while in the Navy.

It wasn't until Reagan that I took an interest in Politics. Had Carter been an excellent president, I probably would have voted for him instead of Reagan. But, Reagan proved to be a great leader and I again voted for him versus Mondale.

I voted for George H W Bush versus Dukakis.
