In post 8 you posted two links addressing the deportation of Muslims. Is that a policy you think we should adopt? And if so, should we deport all of them, or only those who are here illegally?

It is true that, as the article the OP refered to states it, for 7th graders, "Islam ; Birth, expansion, society and culture" will be mandatory and "Middle Age ; A society monitored by Church" optionnal.
I repeat, this is totally true. But this is only a part of the truth, a part that could make people think that France favors Islam over christianity. But when you look at the whole truth, you see that this is wrong.
For 6th graders "Birth of christianism" will be mandatory, just like "birth of Judaïsm" and "Birth of Islam"
7th grader will also have "Society, Church and Political power in christian western civilisation - XIth to XVth Century" mandatory.
So, as one can see, framing it as the OP framed it is lying. It's emphasizing on a detail without looking at the whole picture.
Some french politician framed it that way as well : Marion Marechal-Lepen députée [which basically is the equivalent of a us senator] from the Front National [Far-Right party], niece of Marine Lepen (actual president of the Front National), Grand-daughter of Jean-Marie Lepen (Founder and former president of the Front National)

I'm not gonna pretend to know a lot about religion but a religion is only as good as its followers interpret it. An Islamic preacher could go on all day about how peaceful Islam is yet it's meaningless when you have thousands of followers joining IS, forcing sharia law onto people whose lands they occupy, stoning 'gays' and 'adulterers', beheading christian men and raping yazidi girls. The countless beheading videos they share online shows their barbarity, their inhumanity and their total disregard for human life, many will argue that they don't represent true Islam but these radicals will tell you they are following their book and all 'moderates' are not proper muslims. The change in muslims in the UK in the past 15 years is unbeleivable and extremely worrying, I've gone from having many muslim friends to virtually none mainly because on the whole they can't/won't condemn radicals. We had muslims here marching in thousands protesting against the Israelis over the Gaza conflict (no mention of Hamas instigating the war and maximising civilian casualties) yet when the Taliban killed all those Pakistani school kids or ISIS, Boko Haram and Al Shabab where massacaring thousands of innocent people they didn't march/protest or anything. I don't follow any religion but find that Islam is becoming extremely dangerous as many of it's followers are ignorant as easily brainwashed into violent acts which they believe their religion (jihad) permits them to do, just check out some of the videos on Bare Naked Islam and they'll make your stomach churn, I dread these nutters creeping back into Europe then none of us will be safe.

But who made the islam course mandatory in France? Najat Voilaud Belkacem who is a socialist muslim minister. Make ALL religion illegal. Find ways to definitively prove it's all bullshit to even the hardcore believers and then the world will be a MUCH better place. Until then, this is what we have. One religion believing theirs is the right one and all the others are wrong or "misinterpreted" The christians have been horrendous throughout history the crusades for example, and continue to be in many ways like their treatment of gays and the catholic church's protection of child molesters. Its all bullshit and geared around money and control. It's the world's most perfect product. Make any religion illegal wouldn't be viable and it would be nothing less that dictatorship. The recipe is very simple and it has nothing to do with religion, directly: there are rules at my house...follow them or go to fuck off = get arrested, fined, ultimately get deported wherever you think you can live without feeling offended by local customs, assuming that they want you over there! At your home or church built with you own money, if you can afford it, pray whomever the fuck you want. Religion is an intimate thing and should never ever be used as an excuse for gaining more rights or for waiving some duties/responsibilities with the purpose of proselytism.
They explained Islam but not its branches including sunnites, chiites and wahabites and neither its political goals and interests . I have studied and learned much more about Islam by getting myself interested in the israelo palestianian conflict, the iran iraq war as well as about the famous handschar division than by listening to the teacher's courses.
