is Tony Soprano, DEAD????

do you think Tony Soprano died at the end of The Soprano's?????
i like to think he never died since id like to see a Soprano's movie made but it probably wont happen since he most likely did get whacked at the end of the series! (shame they couldnt show you what really happened eh instead of cheating us viewers with a blank screen for 30 seconds lol)

any of you like to see a Soprano's comeback or should we let it sleep with the fishes??? lol

I think if that is true ^, I rememver the creator saying if they ever made a movie it would be a prequel.

Most of the characters were dead after that last season.

Fading to black allows the viewer to make their own decision as to what happens. Which I think is better than seeing him with several bullets in his head, or not ;).

I dont think it was cheating, it makes the final moments of the show very subjective.

I just know that, Nick D'Urso received a phone call about plans for a feature film version of Jersey's favorite crime family. He won't say who contacted him.

That is all. :hatsoff:

still its a shame the ending to such a successful TV show was so bad, they couldve showed something instead of nothing lol

Early in the last season, Tony was talking about what he thought it was like to get whacked. He said something like " you are just going along and then everything just fades to black".

You are correct. This is the scene you are referring to. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v-Lz7yCWlRs
The video doesn't show the part where Tony says "everything just goes black", but you get the idea.

This is clearly foreshadowing. Tony and Bobby discuss what it's like to die (by getting shot in the head), and they talk about how you probably don't even hear the shot and how everything probably just goes black. That is exactly what happens at the end of the show, everything just goes black and you don't hear a shot. Also, in the final scene, there is a Edit: in a members only jacket sitting at the bar looking over his shoulder at Tony nervously. He then gets up and walks into the bathroom. It's obvious that at the moment Tony looks at the front door of the restaurant when Meadow walks in, the guinea in the members only jacket walks out of the bathroom and puts a moonroof in the back of Tonys' head. The end. Tony's dead.

thanks for the spoilers, dick.

Mr. Daystar

In a bell tower, watching you through cross hairs.
He was killed. The fade to black, everything just goes quiet thing. The guy in the diner, in the members only jacket...this is a good read, and explains a lot.
