Depends on the orgasm. I've had plenty of orgasms which were forced/rushed and just brought about by the need for stress relief (or getting rid of an inconvenient boner) which while a good feeling for a few seconds were completely forgettable and followed almost immediately by a feeling of "OK.. what shall I do now?" and there are plenty of feelings comparable that have produced a bigger "rush" of endorphins and more lingering pleasure : the jubilation watching my team score an important/spectacular goal in person, the heart-racing intensity of being at the peak of the Oblivion roller coaster the moment before it plunges into its sheer vertical drop, the pleasure derived from taking time to enjoy a truly wonderful meal.
I don't know about better, but massages are pretty nice.
As a pretty tactile guy, I agree. I've experienced plenty of moments of physical contact that have felt as enjoyable as a weaker orgasm and have felt "I just want this feeling to last forever." OK some of them were of a fairly intimate nature, but they weren't orgasms or often involved no contact with the sex organs themselves.
HOWEVER, nothing compares to the glory of the
right orgasm. When the senses have been tantalized, when the excitement has been allowed to build on its own over a decent length of time, and most importantly where it has come on by itself without being forced by myself, when it's physically impossible to stop it from happening. The champagne cork popping, if you like. There is nothing like that. Heart-racing, dizzying pleasure that seems to run from head to toe and leaves you feeling like you're floating away afterwards. That's the best.
