I noticed a funny thing a few years ago. The Indian character Raj and his sister Priya might possibly be inspired from the dirty mind of the creator of The Big Bang Theory, and perhaps his favorite pornstar is Priya Rai? Hence, he named two of the characters of the show after her.. Raj (spelled differently, but pronounced the same) and Priya. Coincidence, or plain dirty sitcom writers?

Rajesh and Priya are very common Indian names. You've put two and two together and made five.

If Penny, Bernadette and Amy had been called Kagney, Kayden and Jayden then you might have had something but as it is, no.

Based on some of the jokes over the years on his other shows like Two and a Half Men, I would say yes.
