Seems that its popularity has fallen quite a but since reports came out that they were working with the Ruskie government and dark web types.
It's not like I'm trading positions against Warren Buffett or anything. But still, if I buy a plasma TV for someone, I'd rather it not be for some kid I don't know, living in a basement in Moscow (or Beijing, for that matter).
I like it fine when I had it on my PC and Malwarebytes Anti-Malware was able to catch Potentially Unwanted Programs (PUP's) on my PC. It's fine when I do a Quick Scan but when I do a Custom Scan, say only scan my C-Drive, or a Threat Scan (A Full Scan which takes about three hours) it kept causing my computer to crash, and this kept happening again and again. Once I un-installed Malwarebytes, my PC has been working pretty good and no more crashes.
I'm still thinking of going with BitDefender and Malwarebytes. I'm also considering Webroot Internet Security Complete with Antivirus Protection. Anybody have experience with Webroot?

I downloaded Avast's free AV, and I'm happy with it. I did some research, and purportedly the free version is comparable (if not the same) as the pay version. The same company owns another AV SW also beginning with an A, but Avast seemed to get better reviews.
Thanks Georges. I asked because I saw some inconsistent reviews on Amazon. It confused me even more. I think I'll take your word for it. This is the BitDefender I'm thinking of buying.
