Well, I would say that it is possible, however remote. The membrane between the vagina and anus is very thin and tears easily so it is possible for sperm to reach the vagina via anal intercourse. I would say use a condom either way because it provides more lubrication, which is very important for anal sex.

ok. it's pretty simple. the anus doesn't connect to the uterus. So no, the woman is not going to get pregant by anal sex. BUT, that doesn't mean she Can't get pregnant when having anal sex, it's just not the anal sex that's going to cause the pregnancy. Got it? Sperm can leak out of the anus and into the vagina. gravity has very little to do with it. keep in mind that the sole purpose of a sperms existance is to make it's way to the female's egg. Don't underestimate the little guys. As far as the statistical numbers go, there really isn't any and it doesn't matter much in reality. I've never heard anyone say "It's OK that we got an unwanted pregnancy this time, cuz we didn't get it the last 50 times, so I'm glad the statistic are right!" Here's a statistic to live by: If you get pregnant when you don't want to, then you're 100% screwed, every time.
