I came across an article that female pornstars need at least 2 weeks rest after filming a porn scene because their Vaginas are so worked out.. I guess that's why even the top female pornstars have a 'life-span' of around ~200 films, but many Male stars have +600 films. Eg Lex Steele, TT.Boy, Rocco, etc. Maybe their Vagina's can't handle the rough sex. Hopefully someone from inside the industry can enlighten me. :bowdown:

I have no clue about the recovery time of female performers but I'm not sure it has allot to do with contrast of male/female career span or the differences in how many titles.
It seems like the dynamics of that difference is based more on the differences in career demands for the female performers versus those of male performers.
The competition on the female side seems constant but it seems like established men in porn have work as long as they have wood.

That's the first time I've ever heard anything like that. The result of every scene depends upon the performer, her co-stars, the content they are shooting, the length of the shoot/amount of re-takes, and experience levels. I've never had to "recover" for more than a few hours after a shoot... To my knowledge neither have any of my girlfriends in the industry. If female talent required a 2 wk. recovery period after every scene-- we would never get anything done. When shooting for larger companies models usually travel and stay for a few days to a week or so, shooting multiple scenes over that course of time. Even after intense guy/guy/girl scenes I've done, the most I really need is just a good snack and a nap, lol... I don't tend to shoot anything that would injure me in such a way that I would need weeks to recuperate. Professional porn stars know how to fuck, there are ways to have intense, raw, energetic sex that doesn't harm the female....or male for that matter. That claim seems extremely dramatic to me.

You seem to think that porn starlets do nothing but have sex 24/7, when in reality they only have 2-3 sex scenes per week.
