got me thinking. Is there any gentlemen around anymore? I hear women complain about how "there isn't any nice guys in this world". Is this true? Or do they not notice any of the nice things men do for them? I can't count how many times I've held a door open for a woman, offered an umbrella, pulled out a chair, offered to help carry groceries, and didn't even get a thank you in return. I'm not looking for phone numbers, but a simple thank you would be nice, no?
Those same women will probably go home and complain to their girlfriends how every guy is an asshole and proceed to eat the tub of ice cream I helped carry to her car.
What gives?
Granted there are a lot of lazy, disrespectful guys out there, but it shouldn't matter. We don't hold a door open, we're assholes. We do hold the door open, you ignore it and we're either assholes or trying to fuck you.
