Reminds me of a woman named Debi Zuver from sonoma county, California. Hey boyfriend was a drug dealer that beat her up all the time and tried to get her to lie in court for him so that he wouldn't go to prison. She told him that she wouldn't do it and he punched her and choked her and told her that he would kill her if she didn't and then asked her to go bring him his gun and call the DA and tell him she would testify. She got the gun and shot him with it instead.
In 2001 she plead guilty to manslaughter and was sentenced to 11 years for the and another ten for use of a gun. Her case has been reexamined and she is slated to possibly be released next year, after already serving over 7 years in prison.

They are no crazier than American courts letting rapists and murders out to repeat the crimes again. Also, having a statute of limitations on rape.
That should be removed and all old cases resumed.
Saudi Arabia does the same things but our former president can't seem to keep his lips off the King. There are a lot of terrible injustices going on as we speak all over the world. You do know eastern society has very little respect for women? I can believe this, some places (im really not sure where exactly) if you were to steal they would cut your hand(s) off for it. Pretty extreme but they will still follow the rules of years past.
well hell, there's not much to say it's fucked! and, obviously, they don't believe that women have many rights, including the right to defend themselves.
