Maybe I'm missing something here or is
@bubb trying to confuse us? I know he confused me.
You have the wrong Roosevelt.
Theodore Roosevelt was President from September 14, 1901 to March 4, 1909. He took over for William McKinley who was assassinated. He was elected in 1904 (in his second term). Charles Fairbanks was his Vice President in the second term. He had no Vice President during McKinley's remaining term (from 1901-1904.)
Theodore Roosevelt was known in history for the the Spanish-American War, and being the President known as "the Trust Buster" - breaking up the railroads. (among them the Northern Pacific Railway, Great Northern Railway, and Chicago, Burlington and Quincy Railroad) owned by E. H. Harriman, James Hill and J.P. Morgan respectively and Standard Oil, (the country's largest oil and refinery company) owned by John D. Rockefeller.
Franklin Delano Roosevelt would have been the President from March 4, 1933 to April 12, 1945. John N. Garner, Henry A. Wallace would be his Vice Presidents in earlier terms. Harry S. Truman (the "S" means nothing ) was his Vice President during his last term in 1945.
Franklin D. Roosevelt was known in history for the New Deal, in helping stopping the Great Depression and for World War II having Congress declare war on Germany, Italy and Japan. After the December 7, 1941 attack of Pearl Harbor.
