Once again its that time of year when the ******** heart strings of a nation are tugged in a gallant effort to milk the last remaining pennies from the pocket of the already struggling british public.
Mind numbingly stupid fund raising events, sacrifcing of dignity, sob story after sob story about ****** ***** this, starving ***** that and all this to the familiar backdrop of an increasingly disinterested nation.
Whether the objects of this charity be home or abroad I cant help myself giving less and less of a **** about any of these people. The British public are expected to treat our own war heroes as a charity case and raise money to help men who deserve the money due. But every year, right before xmas we are expect to cough up money to help **** now, when we are all tightening our own belts and in many cases unable to take care of our own, but the every vigilant United Kingdom thinks it can cure every fucking broken heart in the world.
Today 4,000 ******** will die. Well, thats what the man in ad tells me. But wait, step back and look at the bigger picture. ******** are being born to parents who cant feed themselves, already have several screaming, starving dying ********, but! Still find time to have a shag between trips to the local dirty water fountain. (Which we also have to fucking pay for)
Whats wrong with this picture? Shouldnt we be sending a few crates of latex instead. What use is helping to feed one generation when the next starving generation will be the object of the next ignored charity that will be inevitably put on mute when the sad music starts.
When do we see any of the rich, spoilt, tabloid hogging unwanted celebs paying their share or offering to do anything charitable. Madonna thnks she can save one ***** at a time, she has enough money sitting about gaining dust to help thousands, but saving one is buying her place in heaven!
I saw an article saying the Kate and William wedding is to cost £50,000,000. For a fucking wedding! Send that cheque to charity instead!
Let those who can afford to help do nothing and let those who are struggling already, struggle on.
