From reading the article, they weren't so much looking for her as she just fell in their laps (by being incredibly stupid). Other than possible money laundering, what she was doing was apparently legal in the UK. She should have just paid her taxes (no different than anyone else) and she'd have been in the clear. I get sick to death of people like this whimpering and crying, trying to make themselves out to be "victims", just to get the judge or jury to go light on them. She was able to buy a luxury property, no one forced her to do anything she didn't want to do and now (because she didn't pay her taxes), she's going to have to pay up - and hopefully serve some time.
BTW, I hate to be crude/cruel about it, but sweetheart isn't pretty at all (IMO). She should consider herself lucky that she was able to make that much money. She has no one but herself to blame for this situation.
