IFS calibration and plasma tv.

Today the Panasonic plasma tv wich I won in a competition was delivered. The guy who installed it and did the first time setup asked me if I ever heard of something called ISF calibration. He told me the ISF is the Imaging Science Foundation and it has defined a specific set of standards to get the best possible picture quality and that the effect on picture quality is dramatic after calibration. He also told me it's common in the US to have a tv calibrated because it has such an effect on picture quality. My question is, does anyone have experience with this ISF calibration and is it really worth the money? What can we expect after the tv is calibrated?

Racing is life... anything else is just waiting.
I don't know anything about ISF and I don't know much about TV's. But I bought a nice Mitsubishi many years ago and I had it calibrated in an electronics store. The improvement was dramatic! The guy used some kind of magnetic (?) wand to calibrate something in the screen and it made all the difference in the world. I gave the set to my ****** and what's sad is that old CRT TV has a a clearer, sharper picture than the Samsung HD TV that I just bought about a year ago (not using an HD signal on it though). So if what you're talking about is anything like the calibration they did on that Mitsubishi, I would definitely go for it!
