If you be a citizen of any country other than your own, which would choose?

And why?
(Let's throw in the caveat that you have to live in that country, although you can take vacations)

Switzerland seems pretty good. Generous pensions. No worries about foreign invasions and much less impact of any pollical strife than other countries.
Beautiful scenery, and if you ever get bored, you can easily travel to anywhere in Europe for fun.

Wow, no one? Does no one ever fantasize about living as a citizen in another country?

I was going to answer that the other day but did not, sorry. A lot of factors would play a big part, just a few, but I would check how climate is, any wild animals and lastly the main reason would be for the women. A long list so I will not name all of them, Puerto Rico, Spain, Brazil, Peru, Argentina, Venezuela, Dominica Republic, Columbia, Cuba, Panama and Mexico. Never been to any other countries but there are many beautiful countries.

Mr. Daystar

In a bell tower, watching you through cross hairs.
I still haven't seen everything I want to in America. I'm good here.

When the State of Texas becomes a country I'll sneak in there freeloading from the Rio Grande all the way to the Red River all the while pretending I don't speak Texan becoming so pesky they'll try to make me a citizen so I start paying my own way.

Do you like Phil Collins?

I used to like Phil, when he didn't write sad pathetic songs about every woman who's divorced him.....about up until the Duke album. After that, they nose dived, and it became a mix of top 40 attempts, and his sad life. I liked him best, when he was looking at the back of Peter Gabriel's head, playing drums. Don't get me wrong, he deserves his due, but when you go from albums that have 1 song that sucks, to albums with 1 song that DOESN'T, then I have to step back. Part of the problem, was Steve Hackett left too. They had a great line up for the 2 or 3 that came out after Peter left, and before Steve left. The album "And then there were three", was the beginning of that slow downward turn. The song, "Say it's alright Joe", was the first song, that I truly disliked from them.

The Netherlands
Great healthcare system, good economy, great education system, pretty well ranked (#5) on World Happiness Index 2022
Your cheese is better :)

Come visit me if you are in The Netherlands.

If Hong Kong and China weren't dictatorships and weren't amongst the worst countries for government police states I definitely choose Hong Kong or somewhere in China just because of the cost of living value is the best in my opinion they have everything there if one wanted to live extravagantly and also if you wanted to live very frugally.

But since it's getting worse and worse for civil/human rights over there...I'd have to choose Iceland or Canada...probably Iceland would be my final answer just because they seem to rank very high for civil/human rights and freedoms and rank high for health care etc.

I wish there were countries as good as the United States for this answer!
