If I end the relationship with a woman they seem to get married within 4 months after we split

Anyone else have this to happen to them? This has happened several times to women that I ended the relationship with. If they end it (rarely) :) The normal timeframe passes before they marry or start another relationship. I mention this because I was informed another ex married back in August. This makes at least 3 or 4 that have tied the knot after we split within 4-6 months.

Just seems strange.

I had one marry twice in that time frame. And guess what? Double divorce.

Start directing them towards me after you're done, will you? I can always use sloppy seconds.

Fairly fast action from them.

Maybe they have been dating the same time with two men and selected the better one? :dunno:

I said with the women that I ended the relationship with doofus. If they end the relationship then of course that is the obvious conclusion to reach. Are you sure you were birthed by your mother?

I've had a couple that got married several years later that I found out through the Google. One I was happy for and the other I had pity for the poor guy who got stuck with her. The last significant relationship that I ended I'm still holding her hand over the phone as a friend basically telling her what she wants to hear that one day she'll find a nice guy to marry. As for me, I'm glad I married the nice Filipina gal that I did.

Torn & Frayed.
Change "married" to "pregnant" and I'd say yes.

Apparently, I've dodged more bullets than John McClane.

Although in hindsight, it only happened three times -that I know of - I still feel like I got really lucky.

Golddiggers looking for permanent security. There was a reason you ended things, after all.

It's usually some sort of hang up. Mine was one of those poor things who preferred the company of guys who beat on girls. I guess she couldn't take the fact that I wouldn't beat her up and that I actually make her happy, so she eventually keep going back to the ones that would hit her. As if marrying them would make it stop.

Its bloody impossible to break that cycle. It was really sad but there was nothing I could do to help her out. Trust me, I tried. And worse yet, is a trail of children from all these guys. She's locked in, and she prefers it that way. That's some serious psychological damage, poor thing.

Downer, I know. So make sure you're not beating on your girlfriends of wives, its just not cool.

Women are like fruit and because they're not fruit it can be deceptively difficult to know how to proceed. Chivalry has been dead for a long time so the gentlemanly approach is pretty much out the window. Quality time is relative but you know if you're wasting your time so if you're not enjoying the company and not getting something out of it for yourself there's no choice but to rethink the whole situation. As for myself if I invest in a burgeoning relationship I want to see some sort of return on that investment fairly quickly, otherwise I'm wasting the most precious commodity I have, my time, and a woman wasting my time is inexcusable.

How bizarre, my last LTR started a mere 6 weeks after her wedding day.

It's probably not what it sounds like, but that naked fact I always find funny. 9 years later, I think she's still married to the cunt.
