Ico and Shadow of the Colossus coming PSN!?

I was just watching G4 and they mentioned that the developer of the two games, Ico and Shadow of the Colossus, are in talks to bring the game to the Playstation Store. If this is true, I might be getting the PS3 Slim soon because I want the new one The Last Guardian. Anyone else a fan of these games? I honestly believe these games, especially SotC, prove video games can be a true art form.

I havents played either but reviewers say they are very good games so I do want to check them out. Are there any PS2 games on PSN though?

downloadable games and content is the future, eventually all video and pc games will be available in download to own form, format wars will be a thing of the past, I have no problem with this, all I can say is the price better be cheaper since the companys don't have to pay fees for putting the game onto a disc and packaging

I played Shadow Of The Colossus when it first came out. While I thought that it was an o.k. game,I had to take it back because it literally made me physically nauseous. After about 10-15 minutes of playing it,I always had to turn it off,so I never got a chance to finish it.

There was only one other game that did that to me,Spiro The Dragon.I don't know if it was the combination of movement and colors, but those two games really made me ill when I tried to play them.

They probably won't be coming to the PSN. Just like the GOW collection, this will probably be rereleased on blu-ray...
I've heard these are great games: I'd try to play them.

I don't know, but this is just what G4 said. I wouldn't be surprised if Sony wants to start making at least some PS2 games available for download because PS3 slim isn't backwards compatible with PS2, so they probably wanna start making some available.

If you haven't played either of these games, I highly recommend them. I'd put SotC before Ico but, as I said, they're both really good. SotC has more action in it even though it's just boss fights and that's it but those fights are simply epic and just beautiful to witness

Well, there seem to be some problems getting PS2 games to PSN. They'll work something out, I'm sure, but for the moment I think the best PS2 games will only be available on PS3 if Sony decides to rerelease them on blu ray (which can be pretty cool too)

Yes was a great fan of both (completed them too!). Are these ports of the original games to PS3 or just the old PS2 versions. If they are the PS2 versions are you sure these will be playable on the new PS3 slim I thought it lacked PS2 compatibility?

From the way it sounded, you would be able to download the PS2 versions from the PlayStation Store online. You would have to repurchase them doing it this because the PS3 slim cannot play PS2 discs. But as previously mentioned, they might both just be re-released under PS3 blu-ray discs before The Last Guardian comes out.

It's highly probable that it's going to be re-released on blu-ray. Maybe including a sneak preview as a bonus...?
