I Sure Like Potato Chips. I Like Chocolate Too.

I was watching some UK thing some time ago where people were buying what was basically potato chip sandwiches at a grocery store. It figured while weird it was simple enough to make as it's just potato chips between two slices of bread so I tried it. It turned out better than I expected. I don't usually buy chips, but on the rare occasions I do and I get near the bottom of the bag where most of them are broken and crushed I put them in a sandwhich and eat them now.

Speaking of potato chips - they are great with french onion dip! I've been getting a tub of FO I think since around the pandemic hit. And, a big bag of either Ruffles / thick-cut chips, or kettle chips. Great with cold-cut subs for lunch.

I assume FO stood for French Onion because you wouldn’t want to dip your chip in any random bowl in this here Freeones Message Board Store Of Pornography.

I've never seen anywhere selling these over here! But you can be damn sure I'll be looking for them from now on. They are definitely a thing over here but people usually make their own.

Speaking of chips, fries are good too. Not too bad on the calorie meter either. Mayo is nice with them, or a good quality ketchup. Annie's Organic Ketchup is yummy. The occasional dip in good ranch, and even malt vinegar is nice as well.

I still like McDonald's fries the best. They're probably the cheapest to make but they way they deep fry them and salt them taste great. I don't need ketchup or anything on my McDonald's fries.

In 'n' Out Burger actually cuts up fresh potatoes preparing them with TLC but they taste like wet toothpicks.

Go to In 'n' Out Burger for your Double-Double then swing by McDonald's on the way home to get your fries.

Yeah, if In-N-Out took the time to blanch them on lower temp oil or water, then fry them, they'd be much much better. McDonalds (and most places) have that done before before they are shipped. They get a light steaming in the factory, then fried, (flavourings are added too to make it taste beefy), and they freeze em and ship em out. They get fried at the restaurant.

I bet if In-N-Out changed their recipe, people would complain. You know they know their fries are meh.

The In 'n' Out French Fry Fan Bois always say, "Just get them Animal Style." Fuck Animal Style. Might as well make them Doggie Style. If you have to put all kinda stuffs on your fries there is a problem with your fries.

I get it. I've tried that twice. It's too much. Your best bet is asking for them "well" and they will be a little more done. Or light well. Or just throw em in the burger.

I found these at the dollar store. I am so dedicated to you guys I bought it just to try it out :)

They do get the feel & crunch of the chip, but missing a little of the saltyness.

Not to take away from the greatness that is the potato....no matter how they may be prepared, I have a great little sandwich for you to try.

Fresh Jewish rye, spread butter on both sides, then drain and pat dry a bunch of hot or mild pepper rings, or jalapeno's. Pile on the bread evenly. There ya go.

I've seen my wife make a cold spaghetti sandwich for breakfast. Worst part is, she used wheat bread, instead of Italian.

I like Zapp's New Orleans Spicy Cajun Crawtaters and Sifer's Valomilk with either an A&W Cream Soda or an RC Cola.

Want! 😋

Years ago our local grocery store carried Uncle Ray's potato chips for a limited time, Uncle Ray's Roasted Garlic is still my all-time favorite potato chip even though I haven't had any in years.
