However, as it turns out I'm diabetic. The "my pancreas is a total deadbeat" kind. It turns out adults diagnosed with T1 have a slower dying pancreas than little **** so we can survive years w/o taking insulin (or other meds) as long as what our dying pancreas produces is in line with what we eat. I probably was diabetic for years before my diagnosis but very well controlled due to keto.
With that note, now is the time to be diagnosed. The tecnnology is amazing. I'm becoming a cyborg with censors and insulin pump.
