You know what sucks about that, though?

Giving up having cookies and milk after dinner.

I mean, i eat pretty well, i just don't get much exercise and I really like cookies.

I was thinking of trying to eat more eggs and more yogurt and less grain but I LOVE BREAD. THIS ISN'T EVEN FAIR.

i am blessed with the fact that i despise sweets. i see them to be utterly pointless.

however, even though i eat quite healthy, i eat more than i should and don't get enough exercise. i recently bought a nice mountain bike and thats helped a lot. its actually fun to ride and you burn mad calories. now i don't feel as bad for eating.

also, im working on my metabolism. i grew up skipping breakfast. now im making sure to eat something. and im ******** tea like its going out of style. this oolong tea is AMAZING.
 
why not instead of cutting the food, turning into exercise. try doing any sport, and the exercise.

Eat less eggs and make sure the bread you eat is the healthiest possible. And find some exercise routine that you can stick with.

That's where I'm screwed. My foot needs an operation and recovery time that I can't even come close to affording. So my exercise options are fer ****. Living where summer is 10 degrees hotter than hell doesn't help either.

why not instead of cutting the food, turning into exercise. try doing any sport, and the exercise.
This, is the way forward. While diet is, granted, one part of the equation, it's a simple matter of physics that you can always offset it with enough on the other part of the equation: Mass = energy in - energy out. The beauty about this is that no matter how bad one's genes are or poor one's metabolism is, it's still true!

The other beauty is, sex is totally one of the best exercises. Think of it this way: more sex = same amount of cookies!

I wanted to join a gym but they're €30 a month, minimally, which is a lot. Once it gets warmer I'll be outside more. i asked one of my lady pals if she'd start going to the swimming hall place thing with me since i get in shape really fast when I swim but she hasn't really given me an answer either way.

I also really wanted to do hot yoga but I don't think anywhere in my town offers it.

I guess I could try in-home workouts with DVDs and such but then I just kind of feel like a dork.

training at home is ok, u don't have to feel like dork, nobody will know that.

you know whats dorky but works? wiifit.

when i stuck to it, i dropped 15 pounds fast. step also works great. lots of dvds and the steps are cheap. that **** works great.

that's for girls, you should try some ultimate fighting or kick box, it works.

They always have old ass tredmills and **** at the second-hand stores here, but I'm always afraid of my cats somehow getting hurt on them.

I was in easily the best shape of my life when I lived with an ex with whom I had sex 1-2 times a day. Fantastic shape. And I ate whatever I damn well pleased (though it helps that I don't have much of a sweet tooth). Which is not to say I necessarily recommend it as the only exercise, but it is a good one.

Another option I got into when I was living in England (where the weather, as I'm sure is well known, is horrid year-round with the exception of a truly gorgeous month in spring...maybe even two if you're lucky) and also couldn't afford the gym is a trampoline. A little one-meter exercise trampoline. Jumping apparently (you'll find a lot of results Googling this) gives you almost the same benefit as running calorie/cardio-wise, as well as moreso where joint-strengthening/protection is concerned. Not nearly as scenic as running, but you don't need any special shoes or have to worry about the weather.

Hell. You can roll out of bed naked and do the same effective exercise as running a mile. You could probably even work that into a cam show.
