I Had A Peanut Butter And Jelly Sandwich Today. Sure Was Good.

I used Laura Scudder's All Natural Old Fashioned Nutty Peanut Butter with Knott's Berry Farm Boysenberry Pure Preserves and spread it on some Oroweat Country Buttermilk Bread. Best PB 'n' J ever.

I like my pb&j's on toasted Italian bread, with a good quality chunky peanut butter, and Smuckers grape jelly.

I saw Paula Deen on the Food Network once make her Paula's Fried Peanut Butter and Banana Sandwich. Sure looked good.

My favorite fried PB and banana sandwich is this:

Fry three slices of bacon. Mash half a banana, spread on one piece of bread, spread PB on another piece of bread. Place the bacon on the banana spread, and cover with the bread that has the PB on it. Fry the sandwich in the bacon grease till both sides are golden brown. Salty + Sweet fantastic. At my age I only have this once every couple of years though.

I'm totally doing that. Sure'll be good.

I always like when somebody puts up food products and I have never seen that brand before, probably because they are a regional thing. When I go shopping I always wonder how much of what I get most of the country has never seen.
