If we're just talking about on a personal level, I think it's how they look and not the age they are. Some people can look younger than they are while some people will look older. That can change pretty fast though. I have seen age catch up to people remarkably fast. Of course *****, the lifestyle they lead, and not taking care of themselves can help them do that although sometimes it’s just plain genetics. There are also people that can remain attractive forever. (Not literally forever but staying in shape can do a lot to retain youthfulness)
If we're just talking about the average pornstar, a decade or two ago I would have said late 20s. Today I think for whatever reason that a lot of them are looking good in their very early 30s. I would say to be widely popular with the vast majority of the people that buy the stuff, and to remain near the upper tier of pornstars where the cash coming in is still worth it, I would put the age for most people at 30-33 or maybe 34 years. Of course there are people that can very well go past that point. They could also theoretically do less popular things that don't make as much money, but that’s the age where I think most of them will start to decline in the eyes of most people.

I statrted a thread in the 'watch that move' section titled 'when a porn star has physically degenerated and really needs to bow out of the industry'. Needles the moderator deleted it as it was seen as offensive to pornstars. It was gona be a good one though..lol.
One of the points of porn is that there is something for everyone. Be it certain ages, fetishes etc...
A pornstar should continue for as long as they wish. If there is people willing to work with them and people willing to watch, what's the problem?

I've seen some stars that look beat up and used by the time they are c25. Some stars (and non-stars) look good into their mid 30s.
Jill Kelly looked good up to retirement (c33 or 34). Crissy Moran retired at around 30 and looked better than ever. Nikki Nova is pushing 35 too.
I won't list the haggard ones. But they go from hot into chubby into MILF awfully quickly.

if you are over 18 and physically able to have sex, i think porn is acceptable. Old guys need porn too.
