How much do Pornstars earn?

Hello, I have been wondering for a while how much Pornstars earn?

I understand that there are differences connected to different factors like, what type of scene they are doing, if they are male or female, how famous they are etc.

But would be interesting to know what some of the big female names (Jayden Jaymes, Puma Swede, Nikki Benz etc.) make. As well as how much the male pornstars make. I I think I somewhat over estimate how much they make..

For the male pornstars, I don't think it matters.

I think Peter North would take any amount of money in a job where he gets laid practically 24/7.

When you're starting, I've heard you make more money doing gay porn. Very few males make a lot of money, I bet.

For an entire year in 2008, male performer Christian XXX had a daily blog detailing his life in the porn biz. It's a great read for anyone interested in the porn industry. He discussed income on many occassions.

Things in the porn business have gotten worse since he stopped blogging (porn production is down 50% over a year ago), but I seem to recall him getting at least 20 scenes a month at $600 per scene. Sometimes 26-28 scenes. That's not too bad. He was making at least $140,000 a year as I recall. Not bad to wake up and fuck beautiful women every day.

During this same time, most female porn stars were making $800-1200 per scene. Bigger names making more than that of course.

It's not just how much you make per scene but also how much work you can get.

The porn industry has really been hit with the recession sales and production has gone down tremendously. Many pornstars are not making the money that they use to.

Alot of pornstars are now escorting charging there customers more then $1000 per hour on a session. Just take a look at Lela Star she is charging $2000 an hour per session that's a lot of fucking money and she is not the only one. Ive read that Jill Kelly was going to start providing i dont even want to know how much her rate is going to be :eek:

Don't get me wrong female pornstars are still making alot of money from shooting, feature dancing, and nowadays escorting some more then others of course but the industry is not nice to all them.
