yesterday when i signed up, I replied to a comment someone made in a pornstars thread. Now 24 hours later - the comment still hasn't shown. The comment itself was not breaking any rules, simply a reply to what that person said, so i'm not sure why there is such a delay? Are all the mods US based - no staff in other time zones?
How long does it take to get a first post approved for a new member?

The mods are volunteers and during the weekends they may be busy with real life 
On the other hand, only your first 5 posts are moderated so if you post a bit more then it won't be a problem anymore for you.
