Have you customized your board settings? How?
I've always kept the 25 posts per page, but I have, on occasion, tried to reverse the display order so that the newest are on top in an effort to save moderation time..... but I can't adjust myself to that setting.
(Go to your own profile, then you will see "Edit Options" in the list on the left side, if you don't know what I am on about.)
