The home page poll (last time you bought a pornsite membership) shows a huge amount of us aren't buying memberships. There is indeed a truckload of free porn out there but I like to buy the odd membership as a way of thanking the ladies for all their hard work.

I'm not connected to the adult industry in any way (except as an appreciative audience) but I'm all for supporting my local porn star.

Anyway, that's my rant over.

This is true in a lot of ways and not just with porn but with things like music too. If you want the people to keep doing whatever it is you like them doing (porn or not) then you gotta support them and give them a reason to keep doing it.

Yeah, music is a good analogy. An old flatmate of mine was a stripper; she was doing it to pay off her car, while her co-workers were working their way through university, or were single mothers or recently separated and needed all the cash they could get. So, surely it's not asking too much to join the odd website?
