Hey Single Fellas, What Has Dating Been Like During The Past Year?

I'm married and glad to be so I don't know. I sure am curious what dating was like for people in 2020 though.

How did you meet people?

What kind of dates did you go on? Where did you go?

Were there any extra hurdles trying to get sex from a woman that wasn't there the year before?

Anybody get married or newly divorced?

Once the pandemic was announced - around St. Patrick's Day I think, I basically STOPPED hitting the on-line dating sites. It is nice to have my Satruday and Sunday mornings available for other things, now - like watching porn!!

Before I was married I tried the online dating thing. Never worked for me. I got matched up with ladies who I would not normally be interested in. I accept my share of the blame as maybe I didn't do a good job with my profile.

My aunt was the one who met my wife originally. She told me about a nice girl she met at a Baptismal and gave me her phone number. I called this girl, made plans for dinner, and the rest is history. Thank God someone else was available to make a first impression for me. I am even more of a neanderthal than you guys think I am.

I recently met a handsome guy on the international gay dating site. But we haven't met yet, and I'm very worried. Agreed to meet this weekend, I hope everything goes well. Do you think you invite him to a cafe or go to the movies on your first date? Uff, I'm worried))

Tried the internet dating thing. Connected with a lot of girls. Nothing ever went anywhere. Most of them ghosted after a week. Beginning of this year I deleted my profile. Felt like I was just wasting my time.

Does "ghosting" mean you made them disappear? Well done if properly executed. Closest thing she'll ever get to confronting you at your job will be to have her picture on a milk carton that's sitting on your desk. After a few unsolved mysteries it's probably good to delete your profile maybe starting fresh with a new dating site to scout for some new ladies.

Internet dating didn't work out for me either. It was either I liked them but they didn't like me or vice-versa. I did meet some nice women, but also a few nut jobs lol. I think it's much better (and safer) meeting people through mutual acquaintances or at work, etc.

I encounter hot women in-person all the time that I'd love to hit on, but I feel like what's the point of approaching them while we're all behind masks?
