This is a stupid example and a dead end, stillborn argument. Anyone who says that removing millions of people's access to firearms will stop killing by insaniacs is severely retarded, as is anyone who contends that you don't need a 30 or 50 round mag to kill massive amounts of people easily.
Standing a few yards away and ripping people apart in a short space of time is either done with high capacity and high velocity firearms or explosives. Not with a bolo or a blade of any kind. Hammers either.
As a victims mother pointed out, drunk drivers in just 1 day killed more people then were killed in Sandyhook, yet it still isn't hard to get enough alcohol to lose all ability to drive. So where are the people calling for life in prison for drunk drivers, or removal of all vehicles from anyone caught DUI?

Attack the problem, ok...good idea. Attack everyone and everything remotely connected to a situation ... lame and wasted effort.
Guns do kill people...soon enough there will probably be some guns killing people from anger over constant attacks on their freedoms, their lifestyles, their families. And I will feel no more shock over that than I felt watching the Twin Towers burn.
