It isnt the life line you think it, Well it isnt like it wont profit China. They can now flood Iraq with there brands and shit. Would the US want home produced stuff to be taken over by Chinese Corporations?

We have moved out military base focus out of Europe to Iraq for this very reason. As China enters the late 20th century as we knew it, their demand for oil is going to continue to spiral up. We are there to keep them from getting "our share". Our troops are not going to leave Iraq anytime soon. Bitch and moan about campaign promises all you want, but this may have been a shrewd move by Cheney. It's too bad they had to lie to the people to do it.
