ok, ive been noticing a lot more comic book related threads being posted her as of late, and im wondering if any of you play , or are familiar with the game "heroclix"? it may be showing my level of nerdom, but as for me, ive been playing since day 1, and with just a very small group of guys, thats dwindled down to just 1 over the decade...

ive never played mage knight, but the guys that i know that have prefer heroclix... we used to go into the warhammer store and ask them if they had heroclix just to see their reaction :1orglaugh small joys...

I played a ,lot of Roleplaygames, starting, as most, I guess, with D&D. Then Midgard, Fading Suns, Warhammer. Fading Suns was a great one, for those who don't know it, the concept for the Multi-Series and movie 'Stargate' was, lets say copied from this game.
In Fading Suns' I played a female space agent called 'Nikki Nova', which back in the days, none in my group understood, as I was the onle guy with Internet, was around '96, if i recall correctly
I am not so much into collecting and playing with miniatures, though had bought occasionally ones for my fave playing characters

yeah, i got started because they made a thor, and a bane piece... and it just snowballed from there
and in 96, one guy in our group had internet, and wed all go over to his house and huddle over the screen waiting ten minutes for the 56k to load pages to get walkthroughs and cheat codes for goldeneye... good times :rofl2:
theres not quite so much stuff to lug around, and its pretty easy to learn... theres not really a short "intro" video i can find though, just this
