Upon reading all the thought provoking posts in the most recent 'news' threads, I decided to ask all my fellow FO friends for some help with a recommendation.
Now bare with me, I am but a poorly educated English gal here! without going into copious amounts of detail about my Masters dissertation, it revolves around the proliferation of counter terrorist measures in the US before 9/11.
There is one area I am struggling with at the moment - branches of American government, and how they entwine/work. I'm a little confused on the differences between the executive, congress, the justice department, the legislature. :o Told you I was a poorly educated English gal!!!
Does anyone know of any books, or websites, that give a good run down?
