I just got a 42" LG HDTV and playing around with it...being tech illiterate- trying to get higher quality sound off my DVD player, instead of Mono- how do I hook the cables so I get HQ sound? Do I have to buy one of those HDMI cables? The thing is, there is not an HDMI slot off of the DVD player- there is a slot in back of the TV though, but not the player...I am using the colored patch cables, but it is not working..
