Has your life been influenced by a pop song?

Some people believe our lives are profoundly influenced by whatever pop song was number one on the day we were born.

Here are some examples of songs that were No.1 on the day they were born using ‘Birthday No.1’ on www.thisdayinmusic.com

On the day Heather Mills was born Hello Goodbye by The Beatles was at No.1 in the UK.

Amy Winehouse – Red Red Wine by UB40
Pete Doherty – Tragedy by The Bee Gees
Kate Moss - You Won't Find Another Fool Like Me - New Seekers
Paris Hilton – Shaddap You Face - Joe Dolce
Courtney Love I Can't Get No Satisfaction Rolling Stones

What is yours?

i don't even want to know who mine was, because i hate the eighties coke-head bands.

US #1 when I was born:
Sagomakolyma - "I Never Have Anything Positive to Say (About Anything)"

Seriously: The Rolling Stones - "Miss You"
18th Birthday: Los del Rio - "Macarena" :rofl2:

Jeez, I'd better stop there...

Just out of curiosity, and this only occurred to me because I worked a George Michael show last night, was the Jitterbug ever #1 on any of your birthdays or anything? The first 2 you mentioned explain a few things about you, but the Jitterbug would explain all the remaining questions about you.

^ Well, Jitterbug doesn't coincide with any of my birthdays that I know of, but it might explain something to know that George Michael is my adopted father. He adopted me when I was 20, you know, one of those perverted type deals. :D

Frank Zappa and I have the same b-day. Apparently nothing happened in music on my birthdate the year I was born.

I see. Do you spend a lot of "quality time" with your adoptive father? :1orglaugh

I spend some time with him, especially on tour. It may interest you to know that while he was on-stage at the concert, I was in his dressing room "waxing the bishop"! His chess set gets very dirty since he insists on moving the pieces with his ass, which in addition to being unsanitary, rarely transports the piece accurately to the intended square. Oh well, it's a living.

I was born on the same day The Stones released Jumpin Jack Flash.
Not sure if there was a crossfire hurricane that day,and I am sure that I didn't howl at my Ma in the drivin rain.
Also same B-day as Bob Dylan.

Billy Connolly's version of D.I.V.O.R.C.E. :wtf:

KC and the Sunshine Band- ''That's The Way (I Like It)'

I think a lot of Phil Collins stuff and Genesis had an influence on my life, or at least it seemed to fit the moment.
Some stuff from Henry Rollins "Weight" influenced me too, "Hero Time" I found at a point in my life I was wondering where I was going in life, and was ready to give into peer pressure.
