Happy Black History Month!!!

There's a Black History Month but no White History Month, no Latin History Month, no Asian History Month...
You know how it's called when people are treated differently because of their race ? Racism. Black History Month is racist

Mind your own fucked up months.

If America started history months for everyone they would have to add months.

Because White history month isn't enough there are different cultures of Whites.

There are different cultures for Blacks as well.

It's not racist. Everyone's the same. Flip your hands over and look at your palms. Everyone in world ... has the same color. Regardless of race. :) ;)

Yep, but the simple fact that people from a certain race have a special month called "black history month" is racist. It should be Black History Month all year long. Ad Asian History Month, Latin History Month, White History Month, Arab History Month, etc...
When you're not sure wether something is racist or not, there's a silmple test : make it about jews. Just imagine how people would go nut over "Jew History Month".

Blacks have a month designated for them when other races do not because of the slavery and racism that they endured. Not because there is a motivation steeped in racism.

It’s always fun to watch left wing kooks jump through grueling mental hoops to create a weak narrative.

The Darkies need to get over themselves. I get it. We all have to pay because of slavery. Slavery wasn't as bad as they make it out to be. Those slaves had a roof over their head and they got fed daily. Get over it

I have no problem with blacks history month as I can avoid certain articles and fast-forward segments on the television for 28 days fairly easily like it never happened.

Yep, since the Democrat party is the party of the KKK and Jim Crow, I’d say you are spot on.

The one I feel sorry for is MLK, all the speeches of equality, peace and harmony was nothing less than a waste of time. People of color have taken everything he stood for and are doing the complete opposite than originally planned, a total 360. I bet MLK is doing cheetah flips in his grave right now.

And for the umpteenth time, those southern democrats were all staunch conservatives.

all hail conservatism!

And for the eleventy billionth time they were not. There was no “ conservative” movement back during that time. Those same democrats believed in higher taxes and bigger government. You don’t get to erase the dark history of the Democrat party just because you want to.
Even in the 1960’s Robert Byrd and Al Gore Sr. remained Democrats.

Oh lordy please...are you actually trying to build a case that those democrats were NOT social conservatives? That they did NOT want, above all other things, to conserve their society as it had been and was - meaning white supremacist and institutionally discriminatory? If so, do you actually expect anyone who knows anything about history to buy that?

Do you further expect anyone to believe that dixiecrats and their former confederate ancestors were advocates for a large, powerful federal government?
Seriously??

ps: as discussed before the Byrd card carries zero weight being as the guy ended up being an outspoken critic of who and what he'd once been.

Before we continue with this discussion (it’s Monday morning and I am a little busy with my other life) you will agree that you denounce or even renounce both FDR and [NOBABE] Lyndon Johnson [/NOBABE]? Are we in agreement? I’ll assume that you have zero defense of Woodrow Wilson.

It still baffles me how people still don't know the difference between political ideology and party affiliation. You're correct that the southern Democrats subscribed to conservatism. They argued on the grounds of states' rights. A key pillar of conservatism. The ****** of American conservatism, William F. Buckley, was against the civil rights movement. FFS he supported white supremacy. https://adamgomez.files.wordpress.com/2012/03/whythesouthmustprevail-1957.pdf

You don’t know a cotdam thing about states’ rights because if you did you’d know that the Republican party of that era were Federalists. States’ rights were considered a given because of the limited role of government during that era. It was the argument used for secession but it was not a governing principle.

That hit piece you posted on Buckley is crap as Buckley argued for civil rights.

The Democrat party is the party of racism as FDR represented the Democrat party into the 1940’s. Only one Dixiecrat switched to the Republican Party, Strom Thurmond. The fuck outta here with that noise. Not to mention Lyndon B. Johnson’s well documented racial slurs.

James W. Fulbright was a segregationist who also supported the United Nations, opposed McCarthyism and then the Vietnam War. He also warned about the "jewish influence in congress" before leaving office.

Did he ever disavow those views? Bill Clinton praised him as his mentor.
