I don't know why but I like GTA 3 better than VC in a way.. nobody else agrees with me.. anyone with me on this? lol

I agree that GTA 3 is better, mainly because it came out first and I was totally in love with it because I had never played anything like it before. Also, I actually beat GTA 3...never had enough patience to finish Vice City for some reason :/

Expansion packs for the first few games < GTA1 < GTA2 < GTA3 < Lberty/Vice City Stories <Vice City < San Andreas < GTA4
In a few ways I like San Andreas better than 4, but 4 is just so full of life. Not full ofthings to do, or gangs to kill.. but more everyday stuff like talking to friends, making a lil cash.. driving around looking for a burger joint. heh

:thumbsup: Candy, have you played GTA4 yet? Its the only one I've beaten since GTA3. I actually went back and played Vice City a 2nd time and I still didn't finish it lol.
I like them all but am not a fan of the online play in the new game what a waste that was, the racing is ok and maybe the other modes are good to if only i could get in to a game with a party of friends to find out. so far all i can get into is the race's and sometimes on rare time i get into a turf war or something like that. Well lets hope there is some download content for this game soon or it going to be Saints row 2 for me !!

Nope I haven't played it yet. I haven't played any newer games hardly at all, I better get on that, I'm slacking.
GTA3 is the best GTA so far.
Maybe because it was the first 3d GTA I played, but I still liked the setting better. The cars and the gangs were cooler.
I got bored at Vice City very fast. San Andreas I played through but it wasn't as fun as the original either. Sure, you can choose clothes and stuff. But that's not really why I play GTA. GTA4 is really cool, but still apart from new graphics and stuff, it's like the same game. And doing repetitive missions over and over for every sequel is boring.
Anyway, GTA3 is definitely the best in the series. The rest are just boring copies.

GTA 3, cause it was the breakthru game. but personal fave is Vice City, cause of the nostalgia factor.
Vice City is still immense it's prob the best of them all the music is just class!
Easily GTA:VC. VC seemed more alive and interesting to play (and the disco radio station was awesome). III was somewhat boring. SA was WAY too big.
Yet to play GTA4.
SA was huge, yes...but not realistic. Cities dont just stop after a few blocks or streets, in GTA4 if you want to get out of the poor part of town, the rich side or whatever.. you're gonna have to drive the real distance.
Every city block is alive with trash blowing around, people walking and getting calls on their cell.. you can hear the radio playing from the cars driving by, and a hot dog vendor can be heard yelling from down the street. It's nice.VC is nice until GTA4, then it's pretty tough going back to cars that drive like they're on rail tracks, radio stations that dont randomize their playlists, and OMG that popup distance is horrible. I want to see people, cars and everything ASAP.

vc all the way!! gta4 was Horrible!!! ugh what a disappointment. If you like gta though Saint Row is a ton of fun!! Ive beat the game and come to like it far more than any gta.
