Grieving New Mexico safety hauled off plane, booked for baggy pants

You shouldn't walk around with your clothes hanging off and exposing your underwear. This idiot would rather get arrested (and presumably miss his flight) than pull his pants up and wearing them as they were designed. He should have been and they should have booked him for being fucking stupid.

The Transportation Security Administration identifies many, many official threats to our skies, from contact lens solution to gel shoe inserts to throwing stars. Even in the wake of the "Underwear Bomber," though, boxer shorts have been considered generally safe — unless, that is, as New Mexico safety Deshon Marman discovered Wednesday at San Francisco International Airport, airline personnel can see a little bit too much of them:

On Wednesday, San Francisco police got a call about 9 a.m. that someone was exposing himself outside a US Airways gate, Sgt. Michael Rodriguez said.
An airline employee spotted Marman before he boarded Flight 488, bound for Albuquerque, and complained that Marman's pants "were below his buttocks but above the knees, and that much of his boxer shorts were exposed," Rodriguez said.

The employee asked Marman to pull up his pants before he boarded the plane, but he refused, Rodriguez said. Marman allegedly repeated his refusal after taking his seat on the plane.

"At that point he was asked to leave the plane," Rodriguez said. "It took 15 to 20 minutes of talking to get him to leave the plane, and he was arrested for trespassing." Marman allegedly resisted officers as he was being led away.

It wasn't his pants that put him in jail, it was his arrogance. I dislike TSA with a passion, but staying out of jail and the court fines, etc are worse.

That style is so fucking stupid. I see dudes older than me like 25-30 walking around with there asses hanging out and it's like Dude! Grow the fuck up! It's just a vulgar style, it doesn't add to comfort or anything, why in the hell do they do it?

I think he should have every right to let his pants hang down, but when you want the services of a private business, you have to play by their rules.

I don't want the kid to lose his scholarship, but I hope this is a big enough deal that he realizes that he isn't the fucking king of the world. You don't get to make your own rules because you're lucky enough to throw a ball better than most.

If this fuckhead is acting like the cock of the walk already, god forbid he eventually gets signed to the NFL. His fat mom needs to stop crying for the cameras and start regretting that she helped raise an arrogant douche.

So you're thinking the utterance "motherfucker don't you know who I fucking am" came out at least once?

I wonder if he has figured out yet that they don't care.;)

I think he should have every right to let his pants hang down, but when you want the services of a private business, you have to play by their rules.

You pay them for the service. The service does not start until they are paid. So, you can sit on their plane. I see no reason he couldn't dress like he did.
Not that I like the style. It's just another grab at more power over what you can do or can't. I don't care what they want.

Also, the TSA has to go.

You lost me here. I mean, I follow the notion paid services rendered and all..but if you're sitting on a plane..you've already paid and the process of delivering the service has long since passed (actually the moment you checked your baggage passed through screening and/or gave them your boarding pass).
I see no reason he couldn't dress like he did.

Most services claim somewhere that they reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. I am almost certain airlines have the same policy.:2 cents:

As for why his dress was objected to, it was probably because they felt him to be indecently exposed...I know I would have.

For their service (the tight spaces), who the fuck wants someone's ass covered only by underwear pivoting and bending in their faces? Unless the ass is affixed to the end of Jayden Jaymes, Miss Hybrid or a myriad of other hot asses I know I wouldn't.

I think its funny when I see guys wearing their pants too low... it started in prisons as a way of telling other inmates that the guy was....um....open to advances. It means their a homosexual. Now its fine to be one, people are going to judge regardless... but showing the world your poo stained drawers is just nasty.

Plus as a student athlete he should have been setting an example by following the rules of safety and etiquette. By pulling up his pants he could have gone about his business and not jeopardised his chance to make millions of dollars in the NFL.

Not sure he's jeopardized whatever chances he had. He most likely has sent a few red flags up the masts of GMs though.

More interestingly is the absent-minded judgement he used in choosing to miss his flight, get arrested and become a news story for the sake of keeping his stupid pants hanging off his ass.

Probably a safe bet he thought it more 'humiliating' to be told to pull his pants up than being dragged off a plane in cuffs.

Charged, booked, in a jail cell, missed flight, 'but he ain't no punk..'.:1orglaugh:facepalm:

You already paid and they can shut up about what you're wearing. :hatsoff:

I don't care. They need to learn what freedom is and deal with the fact that people will wear something they do not like.

If they want money they will have to deal with it.

I see a lot of people that are indecent. :dunno:

Nonsense. He paid before he was in non compliance with whatever circumstance they objected to. That just means it's up to him to make sure he does comply with what their conditions are in order to not forfeit what he's paid for the service.

However, if you still believe otherwise do this Will... try to board a plane with a t-shirt on that says, "I am going to hijack this plane' and see how far you get whether you've paid for your ticket or not.

I suspect you will be on another hiatus from FOs for a while if you do.

So? That's what I was saying. He paid and they should deal with it.
They want people to use their service, they need to be more people friendly.

I do not fly. Not until TSA is gone and somethings change.

Then you have it exactly wrong. If you pay for something it's up to you to make sure you are in compliance with the service provider's conditions for fulfilling the contracted service.

Paying for a service isn't a license to do whatever you want to do or even go beyond their private conditions for accommodating you.

This is exactly correct. Look, for example, at Continental Airlines' first point of Compliance that is presented to every ticket purchaser at some point:

The present conditions of sale are an integral part of all the purchasing and sales contracts drawn up by CONTINENTAL INDUSTRIE S.A.S. These conditions, taken as known to and accepted by the Purchaser from the moment each order is placed, may not be modified unilaterally by the Purchaser, but only through a written agreement with CONTINENTAL INDUSTRIE S.A.S.

Accept the Airlines' rules, or get the fuck off the plane, and don't expect any legal recourse. By purchasing the ticket, you agreed to the rules - which you had the opportunity to read. I don't care if anyone says they didn't have the opportunity, somewhere, at some point, you were presented with a document or link that you were able to read/click.

So pull the damned pants up, jackass, or expect to be treated as though you're breaking the rules you already agreed to.

This, for sure.

Quit being a fucking degenerate and pull your goddamn pants up. You play for the University of New Mexico - you're nobody.
