Gotta hand it to Dumb America (First Bush, now Nagin)
Bush and all his buddies started a war that they couldn't finish. What does Dumb America do? They re-elect the fuckin' twit for a second term because they were too scared to try a new leader with different ideas. All part of Bush's plan anyway; Get the country so scared and full of fear from the "War on Terrorism" that the corporations would re-elect him.
Now Nagin is in office again.
This election was nothing more about than "color of skin".
"With all 442 precincts reporting, Nagin had 52.3 percent, or 59,460 votes, to Landrieu's 47.7 percent, or 54,131 votes," according to The Associated Press.
AP reported that Nagin won majority-black precincts and Landrieu majority-white ones, but Nagin also attracted significant crossover support in predominantly white precincts in Uptown New Orleans.
Its good to know that Nagin is determined to do something :"It's time for this city to start the healing process," he said. Please. You've got only a few weeks before the official 2006 Hurricane season kicks off. Maybe you should get the buses ready now. jack-ass.
