So, three masked teenagers approach a house, one of them fires with is gun (the article doesn't mention in what direction he shot, could be towards the house, could be in the air, could be anywhere...), the home-owner shot them all with an assault-rifle and authorities call them "attempted-robbery suspects". Even though they did nothing but approach a house a fire God knows where ! The article doesn't mention them trying to robb, kill or even hurt anyone, it doesn't say they try to break-in any house.
As far as we know for now, this wasn't a case of self-defense 'cause no one was under-attack. Nowx, show me gun impacts on that guy's property and that's a all different story. But considering the facts as we know them for now and the fact that Georgias hasn't abolished the death penalty, that guy deserves to be found guilty of 3 first degree murders, sentenced to the death penalty and executed.
No one was under attack, huh?
No charges filed after gun owner shoots and kills three
The sheriff's office said the three were killed during a shoot-out with the resident on White Oak Court. Investigators say the three teens had their faces covered as they approached the residence and attempted to rob three people in the front yard, Thomas said. One of the attempted-robbery suspects fired shots at the residents before one of the intended robbery victims returned fire.
Two of the teens were siblings and were identified as 16-year-old Isaiah Reid and 15-year-old Jaime Hernandez. The third deceased teen was identified as 16-year-old Brandon Gresham.
One of the youths allegedly pulled out a gun and fired a few shots, prompting one of the residents, reportedly a male truck driver who owns a semi-automatic rifle and is protective of his mother, to return fire and shoot all three. The homeowner called 911 after the shooting.
“The victims of the attempted robbery were all uninjured, but the three attempted robbery suspects were all shot during the exchange of gunfire and succumbed to their injuries, one on scene and two at a local hospital after being transported,” the Rockdale County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement.
Neighbors told the TV station that the homeowner who shot the teens is a truck driver who owns a semi-automatic rifle and is highly protective of his mother.
IMO, the guy deserves a Good Son of the Year and a Bullseye Award for good shootin'. :yesyes: Too many kids grow up these days not respecting other people or their property. They think that livin' that bullshit thug life makes them kewl. At some point, all it'll make you is locked up in a cage like an animal... or as these punks learned (albeit too late), dead. IMO, they should circulate pictures of their lifeless bodies laying in chalk to their little wannabe tough guy classmates, so they don't have to learn that same lesson firsthand.
Johan doesn't understand the notion of self defense, he is against guns. These wannabe criminals got what they deserved. There is a sign on houses which is a sign that a house is well guarded with written :"Never mind the dog, beware of owner", and young people shouldn't think that just because people are old that they won't enforce and exercise their 2nd amendment. Trespassing and attempting to rob a private property is not something wise to do.

Home with family. Woman, children, maybe an elderly parent or two.
Knock on door , says their car broke down can they use your phone.
You look out the window but its too dark to see. You have a bad feeling. They start to turn your door knob and began pushing on the door trying to get in.
You call 911 but by now they are really trying to get through that door. They are kicking on it. You hear other voices, he is not alone.
Finally he kicks open the door.
First, if you had read my post, ytou would have noticed that I specifically made it clear that all what I was saying was based on the elements I had at this point. The fact that shots were fired at that guy's house is a new element to me as therefore, completely changes my perception of the case. Knowing that, I wouldn't say that the man should be found guilty, sentencend and executed.
Now, I wouldn't say they got what they deserved but I wouldn't shed a tears for them either. They played with fire, they got burned, sad for them but I won't blame the shooter.
Two 16-year-olds and a 15-year-old reportedly covered their faces and approached a Conyers, Georgia, residence around 4 a.m. Monday, according to the Rockdale County Sheriff’s Office.
The homeowner was outside along with another man and a woman with him at the residence. When one of the would-be robbers took out a gun and began firing, the homeowner shot back.
Who's "advocating for the right of criminals to terrorize hard working people" ?Rey C. said:But despite those who advocate for the "right" of criminals to terrorize hard working people, he had every right to defend his property and his mother. My concern is for him and his family, and my hope is that he can find peace.
I don't how things are in the states or anywhere but where I live, burglars avoid houses when there's someone inside. They make sur there's no oner iside, they target houses when they know people are away
